JAIPUR: Famous as Pink City- Jaipur is certainly a major attraction for first time visitor. The city is surrounded on all sides by rugged hills and symbolizes the nine divisions of the universe. The city, apart from offering innumerable historical monuments, palaces and forts patronizes several arts too. BIKANER: Founded in 15th century by Rathore Prince Rao Bikaji, Bikaner is known for good breed of riding camels, which are among the best in the world. One can see world famous camel festival, which is held every year in the month of January. The city has many magnificent buildings made of reddish pink sandstone. The city very gracefully conveys the rich and vast culture of Rajasthan through its endless monuments such as Junagarh, Lalgarh Palace and many more.
JAISALMER: The city of Jaisalmer evokes a true picture of magnificence and brilliance of Rajasthan. One of state's best loved tourist destinations, Jaisalmer is worldwide famous for its hospitality and culture. Desert festival is celebrated every year in the month of January/ February, where camel races and folk dances are organized. It's indeed a perfect time to visit the city during Desert festival, which reverberates to the sound of harmonious tunes and Rajasthani rhythms.
NAWALGARH: Better known as the "realm of frescos," Nawalgarh was founded in the beginning of 18th century by Thakur Nawal Singh, a warrior-statesman. The city boasts of some of the finest frescoes in Shekhawati region. This typical Rajasthani town reflects the old world charm through its colorful bazaars and hand- painted havelis.
